About Stephanie Eley
Stephanie starred on Broadway in Dreamgirls and My One And Only. She was also in the national tour of A Chorus Line and on television in Baryshnikov on Broadway (with Liza Minnelli).

Stephanie Eley grew up in Oklahoma and graduated from North Carolina School of the Arts with a BFA in Dance. Her early years were dedicated to variety and living/working in Las Vegas where she opened for Frank Sinatra, Jr., Flip Wilson and Rich Little. She was the lead adagio for the Follies Bergere which was taken to London for a year and played the Victoria Palace. Legit theatre called and her first Equity show was dancing for the fabulous Michael Kidd. Her performing career included the original Broadway cast of DREAMGIRLS in which Michael Bennett, personally asked her to join the cast prior to Boston tryouts. She went on to MY ONE AND ONLY original Broadway cast starring Tommy Tune and Twiggy. She was Twiggy’s cover and loved dancing with Tune. Coupled with her performing career, she directed and choreographed many shows throughout the country, commercials, industrials, TV and film. Her 3 children led her to leave performing and create PACT-Partnering Artists Children Teachers, a NYC, K-12, city-wide company which integrated art forms into the core curriculum. After 12 years, she decided to take this educational strategy to Ecuador and work with children in a private school in Banos for a year. She currently lives in Palm Springs, CA where she continues her performing career as well as being a Teaching Artist for The McCallum Theatre Institute, teaching Inquiry Based Education to children throughout the Cochella Valley.
